Visiting Christian Science Nursing Service

We serve Wisconsin, Iowa, and parts of N. Illinois and surrounding areas.

For those needing in-home care, Clearview’s Visiting Christian Science nursing service comes to you. Care is provided by a Journal-listed Christian Science nurse, or a trained Christian Science nurse, and is offered to Christian Scientists who are relying on prayer for healing and are working with a current Christian Science Journal-listed practitioner.

Visiting Christian Science Nursing Services:

• Expect immediate and complete healing
• Assess the need for safety and care in the home environment
• Assist with personal care including showers, shampoos and nail care
• Loan mobility equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs
• Prepare and modify meals, encourage eating, assist with feeding
• Cleansing and bandaging
• Work with ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients
• Maintain a loving atmosphere conducive to healing
• Support and resource for caregivers providing care for family and friends
• Can help coordinate support from church friends
• Love in action

We are also happy to speak to your church or with your church’s Care Committee to provide more information.

Residential Living

For those who are still independent and active but are no longer interested in the care and upkeep of a home. Residential Living @ Clearview may be a great option. Those who have been residents may still have their car or they may still travel. We have been able to accommodate trips to church and other enrichment activities.

Residential Living includes all three meals a day, laundry, and housekeeping services in a loving homelike environment. Residential studios include a private bath and the ability to bring your own furniture.

Rest & Study

You are welcome to enjoy a serene and healing atmosphere where one can spend a few days to study Christian Science.  Our Reading library has a wealth of Christian Science literature, Bible study materials, and JSH-online for study and prayer.  Clearview is situated on a 5 acre property, graced by many beautiful trees. The original landscape had every tree indigenous to Wisconsin as part of its layout. Today the landscape offers quiet, refreshing walk-ways across well-maintained lawns. Downtown Delafield is just a few blocks away.

We have some accommodations for Rest & Study but are devoting most of our rooms to Independent Living. Do call and we can discuss how best to assist you! We welcome any student of Christian Science to stay with us for a period of quiet reflection in an atmosphere conducive to prayer and study.

Our rate per day is $150 and includes three meals and housekeeping beginning June 1, 2025.
