Great things are happening at Clearview – Program Changes
Great is thy faithfulness
Great is Your faithfulness, God, our creator, / With You no shadow of turning we see. / You do not change, Your compassions they fail not; / As You have been, You forever will be.
REFRAIN / Great is Your faithfulness! / Great is Your faithfulness! / Morning by morning new mercies I see. / All I have needed Your hand has provided. / Great is Your faithfulness, God, unto me!
Freedom from sin and a peace so enduring, / Your constant presence to cheer and to guide. / Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, / Such are the blessings Your wonders provide….
(Christian Science Hymnal, No. 487:1)
Program Changes – Continuing into the Future
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” the beloved hymn reminds us. While we may not always know the destination of the path we’re on, we do know that with God as our guide, the journey can only lead to good.
Christ Jesus also assures us that mustard-seed-sized faith can bring forth great results.
Over the past three years, Clearview has faced ongoing challenges in maintaining sufficient Christian Science nursing staffing. Last July, we anticipated needing to reduce our Christian Science nursing department. However, through the support of temporary Christian Science nurses who stepped in to fill the schedule, we were able to continue our services for several more months.
Looking ahead over the next six months, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to secure adequate staffing commitments.
In response, the Management Team and Board members have been meeting weekly to address this pressing challenge.
Several years ago, during a Strategic Planning meeting, a guest posed a powerful question:
“If Clearview Home were no longer physically here in Wisconsin, what would Christian Science nursing look like?”
So now we ask you:
What does Christian Science nursing look like to you?
Christian Science nursing is not confined by walls or geography. It is the practical expression of God’s love for humanity—meeting the human need wherever it may be.
There is nothing limiting about this view. In fact, it opens the door to limitless possibilities and new opportunities for the expression of Christian Science nursing in Wisconsin. We invite you to join us in embracing these fresh opportunities to witness to the Comforter caring for all of us.

Clearview Home Program Updates
Over the past few years, staffing challenges across the Christian Science nursing field have impacted us all. Like many of our sister organizations, Clearview has been seeking inspired, sustainable ways to continue our healing ministry.
What’s changing at Clearview Home:
- Our in-building focus will now shift to Independent Living.
- Clearview’s Christian Science nursing mission will continue through a new Visiting Christian Science Nursing program.
- We’re also exploring ways to support Christian Science nursing education through this visiting work and in partnership with other CS nursing organizations.
These changes reflect both a response to present needs and a strong commitment to moving forward with grace and purpose. We are deeply grateful for the shared love and support of this precious field and look forward to continuing to serve with you in new and meaningful ways.
Below are a few Bible passages that have been a source of inspiration to us during this time of transition:
“You must all have the same attitude and the same feelings: love one another [as brothers and sisters] and be kind and humble with one another. Each one, as a good manager of God’s different gifts, must use for the good of others the special gift he has received from God.” — I Peter 3:8 you; 4:10 (Good News Translation)
“If you are eager to give, God will accept your gift on the basis of what you have to give, not on what you don’t have.” — II Cor. 8:12 (Good News Translation)
“In quietness and trust is your strength… I am the Lord your God, the one who wants to teach you for your own good and direct you in the ways you should go.” — Isaiah 30:15 in quietness (to:) (NIV); Isaiah 48:17 I am (Good News Translation)
