Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you to all our supporters for helping us to meet the Matching Grant Challenge!
Your donations have continued to support Christian Science healing at Clearview Home for over 75 years!
“I didn’t know how much I needed Clearview – until I was here. I thought I was doing okay on my own, but I am so grateful for the love, support, and healing atmosphere at Clearview. My being here has truly been a blessing I am growing so much. Thank you for what you are doing.”

Our Gratitude List
“I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify him with thanksgiving.”
(Psalms 69:30)
We are very grateful for the progress and healing taking place at Clearview Home this year. Patients, families, staff, and vendors have all expressed gratitude for the peaceful atmosphere, the loving care, and the demonstration of the Manual by-law for the Christian Science Nurse. There is an atmosphere of gratitude for the loving care of all the staff and our ability to work together to support our healing ministry. Clearview Home continues to be at almost 100% capacity, and at the end of the third quarter we have provided over 1500 days of care. What a beautiful demonstration that has been, for perspective it’s the most days of care in a single year since 2013, and the year is not over yet!
We’ve also been blessed with the addition of Journal-listed Christian Science nurses to the staff. Part-time and temporary JLCSN have allowed us to demonstrate a JLCSN on each shift. We are still running 12-hour shifts at this time, but our goal is to return to the regular 8-hour shifts. We are grateful for those who have helped us temporarily this fall. The additional help has allowed our regular staff to take some much-needed time off for recharging and resting.
We’ve been blessed with the dedication and talent of our Food Service department. Everyone received a treat at our Annual Gathering from the Kitchen – strawberry cream puffs! All patients and visitors who come to Clearview just love the comforting smells and food being served. Many of our dishes are made from scratch and include healthy doses of love. Several patients who have had food difficulties or issues have seen that just melt to its native nothingness in this atmosphere healing.
Other administrative support staff have stepped up to help answer phones, greet visitors at the main office, and help manage vendors. We are very grateful for their love and commitment to Clearview Home.
Happy thanksgiving to everyone and may you and your family receive the many blessings that gratitude brings!

Donating your IRA Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) to Clearview Home
Toward the end of the year you may be required to take the minimum distribution from your retirement plan. Many donors in recent years have donated their RMD withdrawal to Clearview Home. When donating your RMD as a qualified charitable distribution you will not be taxed up to $100,000. Earmarking this income for Clearview Home is a great way to begin or expand your giving portfolio while at the same time supporting Christian Science healing.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
